If you haven't seen an American Apparel store near you, I'm inclined to think you live in Toledo, Kansas. If you hav'nt worn one of their pieces of clothing, you just probably don't know it. If your buddy started a "t-shirt company" he probably prints on their clothes. How did this company get to be this size? Dov Charney the founder said it was "Passion" and with 4,000 employees and 155 stores in 11 countries, this company is going to continue to give "reading material" to 15 year old boys in their bathrooms for years to come.
