Sweden produced two men named Peter and Bjorn. They met during high school and liked to listen to bands together i.e. The Stone Roses and Ride. Then they started a band and had to disband it after they both made a move to Stockholm, where they ended up meeting a man named John to form what we know today as "Peter Bjorn and John." They played a couple initial gigs that didn't go over too well but they kept pushing forward. They artistically dropped the commas from their band name because they didn't think they looked good in the font on their first album cover. Today they are now known as that band that sings the "whistle song", but most of us know them for so much more. Thanks Sweden!
